Terms & Conditions FixWise Surface Repairs

By accepting our quote or allowing work to commence, the client agrees to the following terms:

Our repairs are cosmetic in nature and are intended to improve the appearance of the damaged area. Repairs are designed to reduce the visibility of damage rather than create a completely undetectable or factory-original finish.

A completely invisible repair, exact colour match, texture match or original factory finish cannot be guaranteed due to material variation, existing wear, ageing, lighting conditions and viewing angles.

Colour, texture, sheen and finish may vary slightly depending on the material, lighting conditions, viewing angle and surrounding surface wear.

High gloss, textured, stone, laminate, metallic, outdoor and wet-area surfaces may have reduced repair durability or increased visibility after repair.

Repairs completed in shower areas, near silicone, or in environments exposed to water, heat, direct sunlight, heavy traffic or frequent cleaning may wear differently or show reduced longevity over time.

Surfaces previously repaired, painted, patched or modified by others may affect adhesion, colour matching and overall repair durability.

Natural ageing, sun exposure, temperature changes and existing surface wear may cause repaired areas to change appearance differently over time compared to surrounding surfaces.

Some damages may not be fully repairable due to the condition of the material, structural movement, previous repair attempts or the severity of the damage.

Clients are advised to avoid strong chemical, acidic or abrasive cleaning products on repaired areas, as these may damage or reduce the lifespan of the repair.

Some repairs may require curing time before full use. Any aftercare instructions provided upon completion must be followed to avoid damaging the repaired area.

All quoted work is based on visible damage at the time of inspection. Additional damage, hidden issues or unforeseen conditions may require additional labour, materials or charges.

Clients must provide safe and clear access to the work area before repairs commence.

Upon completion of the repair, the client or site representative is responsible for inspecting the repaired area. If no concerns are raised at the time of completion, the repair will be considered accepted.

Warranty applies to workmanship only and does not cover impact damage, moisture exposure, structural movement, misuse, chemical damage, normal wear and tear or issues outside our control.

FixWise Surface Repairs is not responsible for pre-existing structural issues, manufacturing defects, previous repair failures or deterioration outside the repaired area.

Liability is limited to the value of the repair service provided. FixWise Surface Repairs is not responsible for replacement costs, indirect losses or consequential damages.

Quotes are valid for 7 days unless otherwise stated.

Cancellations or rescheduling within 24 hours of the booking may incur a call-out fee.
